About Case & Cove

At Case & Cove, we believe that luxury is found in the details that most people never see. Born from a passion for traditional craftsmanship and fueled by the precision of modern technology, we specialize in creating high-performance built-ins that don’t just fill a space—they complete it.

Based in Wilmington, NC, we serve the region’s most discerning homeowners, architects, and designers. We aren’t generalists; we are specialists in the "transition spaces" of the home—the mudrooms, pantries, and home offices that define your daily flow. Our mission is to bridge the gap between old-world artistry and the digital future, ensuring every project is a flawless architectural fit.

The Experience

Hiring a contractor shouldn't feel like a project in itself.

The Case & Cove Experience is designed to be as seamless as the cabinetry we install.

Design Without Guesswork

Through our "Digital Twin" process, we work with you step-by-step so you see exactly how your built-ins will look, feel, and function before we ever make a cut.

A “Clean Room” Philosophy

We respect your home as a sanctuary. Our team utilizes M-Class HEPA dust extraction and floor protection, ensuring that the only sign of our presence is your beautiful new space.

Collaborative Innovation

We work with you and other home consultants you may have (e.g., interior designer, architect) to ensure our design and millwork align with your aspirations for the look and functionality of the project.

Single Vision

You’ll work directly with our owner from the initial consult to the final white-glove install, ensuring your creative vision is never lost in translation and every detail is executed with singular accountability.

Our Signature Process

Our four-step workflow eliminates the friction of traditional custom builds through high-tech precision.

01: Measure

We begin every project by creating a 3D digital map of your room. This allows us to account for uneven floors, non-square walls, and existing trim to within 1/8th of an inch, guaranteeing a perfect "flush-mount" fit.

02: Visualize

We translate that scan into a high-fidelity “Digital Twin” 3D model. You’ll receive a digital walkthrough of your space, allowing you to view layouts and finishes in a virtual environment before crafting begins.

03: Craft

Using your digital blueprints, our teams hand-craft each component in our local shop. By merging detailed accuracy with hand-finished joinery, we create furniture-grade cabinetry that is built to endure.

04: Install

Our installation is an architectural integration, not a construction site. We handle the final fit and finish with meticulous care, leaving you with a space that looks like it was part of your home’s original architectural plan.

Meet the Craftsman

Mark Forest

Owner

At the intersection of digital precision and traditional craft is our owner—an award-winning Creative Director who traded the screen for the shop to redefine architectural millwork. With a career built on leading high-stakes design, he brings a sophisticated eye for proportion, color, and functionality that goes far beyond standard cabinetry. For him, Case & Cove is the culmination of a lifelong passion for woodworking—a place where his obsession with 'the perfect line' meets his commitment to white-glove craftsmanship, creating spaces that are as intelligent as they are beautiful.
